Novotel launch new wellness items for kids

Healthy kids play, relax and dine at Novotel hotels with Brand Ambassador Sally Fitzgibbons and Play School’s Rachael Coopes

This April, Novotel hotels will launch a range of new wellness offerings for kids including two in-room programs and a healthy menu. Available in time for school holidays, they have been designed to make it easy for the whole family to keep healthy and active during their stay at Novotel hotels across Australia.

Rachael Coopes, well known for her work on Play School and writing award-winning kids theatre, has created the two brand new interactive and fun in-room programs with her production company, Mini Productions. Rachel also stars in the programs alongside Novotel Brand Ambassador and pro-surfer Sally Fitzgibbons. ‘The Wonderful World of Shapes’ is energetic and encourages active play while also teaching kids about different shapes. To balance out the day, ‘Baby Bunny Won’t go to Bed’ is all about relaxing, incorporates yoga moves and is perfect before a nap or bed time. The programs are available to guests in-room and via a closed You Tube channel which Novotel guests have exclusive access to once they return home from their trip.

Sally has also worked with Novotel to design a new kids menu, perfect for little tummies. The menu features classics including spaghetti bolognaise with hidden vegetables, fruit smoothies and tasty desserts like berries and yoghurt. Kids can easily navigate the healthiest items on the menu, clearly marked with a thumbs up. And when they’ve eaten all their dinner the little ones can have fun colouring in the printed menus which feature a range of fun cartoon characters designed exclusively for Novotel hotels.

These brand new wellness offerings for kids build on Sally Fitzgibbon’s ongoing partnership with Novotel, which focuses on making it easy for guests to stay healthy during their stay through in-room workouts and healthy menus for adults.

“As a professional athlete I’ve had to master the art of staying healthy when travelling. The health of our little ones is paramount and trips are so often about new activities and trying new foods. Through these new in-room programs and kids menus the team at Novotel and I want to help teach kids good habits, including exercise and relaxation.

“Novotel also offer a range of healthy choices for the adults including the healthy menus and in-room workouts that I have worked with them to create,” she said.

Novotel hotels are well known for their family friendly focus which already includes free accommodation and breakfast for children under 16, 50 percent off a second room for families, late check-out on Sundays, welcome gifts for kids, movie partnerships and kids corner play areas.*
